General idea of this project was to bring together NGO
workers from 11 countries of European
and Eastern European and Caucasian countries in order to raise their awareness
of importance of voluntary work as a way of active cizitenship and youth participation,
to encrease NGOs skills for volunteers management; to promote volunteerism as
non-formal education; to increase participation of youth from rural and
depreived urban areas through volunteering.
On the other hand with the help of this 7-day training
course we would like to provide NGOs with tools and methods of effective
coordination and management of volunteers and to create a space for the
experience exchange by the participants of the training in the training topic.
In addition to this the training will be a space for the organizations to set
partnership for developing further cooperation within European Volunteery
Service of Youth in Action programme.
“Serund Pan-Armenian Youth Centter” was introduced
by Mikayel Hovhannisyan. He presented Armenian
culture and Serund PYC vision and
