On
the 24-th September 40 representatives of
12 youth organizations gathered in UN
office in Armenia to hear the theme «Non-Proliferation of
Nuclear Weapons and Disarmament».
The
meeting was organized by “Serund Pan-Armenian Youth Center” in the framework of “UN for You(th)-You(th) for UN” initiative.
Representative
of UN Department of Public Information (UN
DPI) Maria Dotsenko was speaker of the theme.
She presented the danger of nuclear weapon and the dangerous zones of our planet,
treaties that were signed by different countries, risks and threats and
importance of peace .
At
the end of the seminar the representative of UN DPI was answering on the questions of young
people dedicated to the dangers of nuclear and chemical weapons.
